About Me
Antonio Fernandes Lopes (or shortened as Antonio F. Lopes), born 1980 in Heilbronn am Neckar, Germany, started very early with his musical education and career. At the age of five, his father (a passionate accordion player) took him to the music school, where Antonio played in several small orchestras. School became annoying quite quickly. Especially because the teacher never understood to meet his pupil’s musical taste. Since then Antonio continued in self-teaching mode.
In the age of fifteen, when he got his first computer, one of the first things he started to do with it was: music.
Over time he focussed more and more in orchestral and classical composition, discovering more and more the world of film music.
His greatest sources of inspiration besides the grand masters of classical music like Bach, Beethoven, Haydn, Debussy, Rimsky-Korsakov or Holst, became modern composers, particularly film composers from the Golden Age like Jerry Goldsmith, John Williams, Elmer Bernstein, Bernhard Hermann, Elliot Goldenthal, Ennio Morricone and many more.
But also contemporary composers like Danny Elfman, Hans Zimmer, John Debney, James Newton-Howard, Bear McCreary, Alexandre Desplat, Marco Beltrami, David Arnold, Murray Gold, John Powell and others.
Antonio acquired a Bachelor’s degree in ‚Online Media‘ and he graduated in 'Computer Science in Media‘ with a Master of Science. In 2007 Antonio started to operate his own recording and dubbing studio with great success called LAB SIX sound & media in his home town. In 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic he and his long-term friend Andreas Kröneck merged to the film studio HNYWOOD. He’s also film producer, dubbing producer and voice artist.
He signs responsible for the German language version of over 70 films (including drama and anime series) and documentaries.
